On behalf of the Scientific Committee and the Local Organizing Committee, we are delighted to welcome you to the Pain Science in Motion VI 2026 Congress, which will take place in Brussels, Belgium from May 28-30, 2026.

 

Pain Science in Motion is a unique event that brings together early-career researchers, clinicians, and scholars who are passionate about the science of pain and its translation into clinical practice. The 2026 edition continues this tradition by offering a platform for dynamic interaction, critical reflection, and scientific exchange, stimulating discussion that moves pain science forward.

 

This year’s congress will feature oral and poster presentations by PhD researchers, meet-the-expert sessions, keynote lectures by internationally renowned experts, and ample opportunities for networking. As always, we aim to foster a supportive and constructive environment, where participants can share ideas, receive feedback, and build collaborations that last beyond the congress.

 

We are thrilled to host the congress in Brussels, the capital of Belgium and the heart of Europe. Brussels is a city of contrasts, historic yet modern, political yet artistic. Known for its rich culture, stunning architecture, and renowned gastronomy (yes, including waffles, chocolate, and beer!), Brussels offers the perfect backdrop for both scientific inspiration and memorable social interactions. The congress venue, the VUB Main Campus at Pleinlaan 2 1050 Brussels,  is centrally located and easily accessible, providing a welcoming space for dialogue, learning, and collaboration.
